This qualification is designed for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide First Aid when dealing with an emergency situation.

*Minimum contact teaching hours apply to this qualification to comply with HSE/Skills for Health guidance - the EFAW qualification should be delivered in no less than 6 hours excluding breaks.
 
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements but in order to benefit from the learning, learners should possess communication skills sufficient to allow them to address the assessment requirements of the qualification.
