Course Description

Falls can have a profound impact on the health and wellbeing of Service Users. However many falls can be avoided when good stratergies and planning is used.
This course is designed for those working in the health and social care sector.
It is a well understood fact that the risk of falls increases with age. 40% of care home admissions are as a direct consequence of falls (NICE-Clinical guidelines for falls). This course is suitable for all health and social care staff who are involved in day to day management of those receiving care.
