This workshop includes:-
Planning preparations from the resident's arrival to the end of their stay, including care planning, their last wishes.
Developing coping mechanisms as the resident declines and reaches their destination
Understanding changing dynamics of the team following loss
Appreciating each individual carer's skills input to support  residents
Recognising the signs of grieving and making sense of what has happened
Developing positive outcomes to enable the team to move on
